No Cheating Allowed: JKBOSE Announces New Rules for Upcoming Exams
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has wrapped up preparations for the upcoming class 10 to 12 examinations. Roll number slips for students have been distributed across schools in the Kashmir Division, with officials confirming that many schools have already issued them to students.
An official from JKBOSE mentioned that the roll number slips have been made available on the designated portal for schools to download and subsequently distribute among students.
Additionally, the board will soon release the date sheet for the annual (Regular) examinations for class 10th to 12th students in the hard zone areas of the Kashmir division.
Preparations for the exams, including the allocation of exam centers, have been finalized, according to an official statement. Lal Hussain, Joint Secretary Examination, informed a news agency that the date sheet for the annual (Regular 2024) examinations for class 10th to 12th students in hard zone areas will be issued in the coming days.
Hard zones in the Kashmir division encompass various schools, including 43 in Anantnag, 19 in Bandipora, 32 in Kupwara, 28 in Kulgam, and 13 in Budgam.
Meanwhile, the date sheet for class 10, 11, and 12 examinations in soft zones of the Kashmir division has already been released by the Director Academics JKBOSE.
Ensuring the integrity of the examination process, JKBOSE emphasized the deployment of measures to prevent any malpractice. The board’s team will closely monitor exam centers, with many schools equipped with CCTV cameras to oversee all activities during the exams.
Stringent instructions have been given to invigilators, and JKBOSE officials will maintain vigilant oversight throughout the process.
Furthermore, the evaluation process will commence after the completion of two or three papers, with results to be announced accordingly.
